The Novak Djokovic vs. Rafael Nadal odds of the top betting sites that the Spaniard is the favorite in this clash. That’s hardly a surprise considering his record at the French Open, but I’m sure that the world number one has something to say about it.
The awkward exit of the US Open obviously motivated Novak Djokovic to prove he’s the best tennis player in the world. The Serbian has been excellent in the 2020 French Open up to the quarterfinal and looked unstoppable.
Nadal French Open 2020 Odds
Stefanos Tsitsipas made the world number one work in the previous round, but I believe that Djokovic underestimated him. He took an easy 2-0 lead and thought the match was over before the Greek youngster put him under pressure.

Nadal To Win French Open Odds
Djokovic can’t afford any off moments against Nadal who’s in top form. On the bright side, the Serbian is one of the few people with a positive head-to-head record against the Spaniard, with 29 wins from 54 matches.
He needs to be at his best to win on clay, though, especially given Nadal’s shape right now.
Rafael Nadal Player Analysis
Nadal French Open Odds
Rafa Nadal took a break from the 2020 US Open to prepare for the Roland-Garros and it seems like a wise decision. The Spaniard is yet to lose a set in Paris and he’s been at his very best up to this point of the competition.
The King of Clay has been aggressive against every opponent so far and the big question is if he can do the same against Djokovic. The Serbian has the advantage on other surfaces, but this match is going to be played on red courts.
We all know what happens on clay when Nadal is in such form. The Spaniard is simply unstoppable and I believe we will see another proof of that on Sunday.
As a tennis fan, I would love to see a long and gruesome battle between the two greats. And yet, I believe that Nadal is on another level on clay when he’s near to his best, so he should be able to claim a somewhat comfortable victory. That’s why the price of -114 for Rafa to cover the -2 handicap is too tempting to skip.
- Nadal (-2)
